The right individual thrives in fast-paced environments and is a natural mentor and coach to those they lead. Knowledge of ordering systems, par level maintenance, analysis of a daily sales mix, inventory, and scheduling is a must. Prior experience managing teams of 10-15 employees is preferred, but not required. Given our aggressive growth plan over the next year, opportunities for advancement are available. The ideal candidate has a background which includes time spent in retail, quick service, and full-service food establishments. Attention to detail, a clear commitment to guest satisfaction, and a true love for the hospitality business are essential. We are looking for people who enjoy working with food, getting their hands dirty, and being very involved in the day-to-day operations of the store. Some people prefer to be in the kitchen, and some prefer to be on the floor. What we are looking for is the perfect blend of the two. Your daily tasks will involve managing product, inventory, quality controls, and execution of recipes, while also managing and participating in the guest experience.

We are looking for Multi-Unit Managers with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop store-level managers to ensure efficient operations at several Mixt restaurants. The Area Manager is responsible for creating and executing plans to elevate each restaurant and the leaders within it. This includes introducing and supporting new initiatives as well as ensuring high standards with respect to existing expectations.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • *Overall responsibility for the daily operations in applicable units
  • *Ensure all food safety standards are met
  • *Proactively identify and implement action plans for areas of operational improvement and build operational capacity
  • *Participate in developing and implementing policies and procedures
  • *Accountability for and analysis of P&L results based on company goals, including achieving EBITDA targets with focus on food and labor cost
  • *Develop area succession plan by evaluating open opportunities, identifying and assessing internal talent, and developing internal talent into restaurant leaders
  • *Provide coaching and feedback to restaurant managers and assess performance on an ongoing basis
  • *Coach restaurant managers in team member recruiting, development, performance management, and retention in order to ensure the restaurant is properly staffed, turnover goals are met and succession planning is in place
